Finest quality casting in every precious metal

By alloying all our precious metals in-house—including 9ct, 10ct, 14ct, 18ct and 22ct gold, Fairtrade gold, Fairmined gold, SMO gold, platinum and palladium—we maintain complete control over quality, offering our customers a guaranteed product with our personal seal of approval.

Hockley Mint also specialises in custom alloys and nuanced metal colours, which can be tailored to your specific jewellery requirements. Customer-specific alloys can also be produced to meet your exact needs.

5-hour, same-day casting

We are proud of our same-day casting service, which offers the fastest, most effective, and highest-quality casting available in the UK. The completed casting is available for pickup or courier delivery by 3:00 pm, provided we have your wax by 9:30 am.

Our skilled casting team accomplishes this by employing cutting-edge investment powder and furnace procedures to compress the traditional overnight burnout process, resulting in a five-hour casting timescale.

Mould Making

Our skilled team crafts moulds from metal masters, resin, wax, and physical objects. Vulcanised rubber is used in our regular moulding process, and it's ideal for replicating metal master models or completed jewellery. Our cold mould service is advised for delicate objects because it uses a vulcanising process that needs pressure and heat.

We may return your moulds to you with your castings, or we can store them securely on-site in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Choosing on-site storage enables you to quickly repeat manufacturing runs according to your schedule.
